Girls' Brigade (1st Bromley)

Girls' Brigade is an organisation for girls and young women aged 5-18 years. Each company is attached to a church. We meet in the Church Hall at Bromley Common Methodist Church. The company consists of four sections:

  • n:vestigate 5-8 years

  • n:gage 8-11 years

  • n:counta 10-14 years

  • n:spire 13-18 years

 

All sections meet on Friday evenings with effect from September 2019.

n:vestigate meet Fridays between 5:45pm and 6:45pm and enjoy singing, games, reading stories and cooking. The girls work for badges and take part in competitions with other Bromley GB Companies.

n:gage meet Fridays between 6:45pm and 8.15pm. The girls take part in District competitions, Sports Day, Swimming Gala and on Company nights enjoy a varied programme including dance, crafts and cooking.

n:counta meet with the older boys in Boys' Brigade on Friday nights between 7:45pm and 9:15pm. The girls work for badges, e.g. first aid, drama, cooking and enjoy a games session each week. Girls also take part in District Competitions with other GB Companies and can work for Duke of Edinburgh Awards.

n:spire meet from 8.15pm to 9:45pm on Friday evenings.

Company (11-15 years) 7:45 - 9:15pm
Seniors (15-18 years) 8:15 - 9:45 pm
